The Alaskan Husky is not any breed of any dog but it is considered as main species of dog. This is the most aggressive and  intelligent dog in the dog category. They look like wolf so most of people confuse to distinguish between an Alaskan Husky and wolfs.

They are considered as freighting dogs. They are best known as sled dogs as many of Alaskan husky dogs are used as sled dogs in many movies so people perceive them as sled dogs. The word we use for such type of dogs is dog sled racing.

They are best in racing and most raced in snow. No dog breed matches this in speed and quickness. In Alaska, these dogs have significant participation in races. These Alaskan Huskies have won Anchorage Fur Rendezvous. These Alaskan dogs are crossed mostly with hounds and gun dogs. Alaskan huskies are best in speed and you can make money $10,000 to $20,000 through these huskies dogs. They are originated from United States of America. These Alaskan huskies dogs are originated of Siberian husky. They resembles like a wolf so many people perceive them as wolf.

What if you keep this Alaskan husky as a home pet? Are they good for home Pets? But you should know that these dogs are basically for speed and endurance. They can be used as hunting dogs, chasing dogs and guarding dogs. It is quite difficult to train these dogs so you need to take him to experience dog trainer for training. This is loyal and obedience dog so you can keep this as a home pet. He loves open air and love to run and walk extensively so you can expect a husky dog as to play inside your yard. They cannot live alone so you need to bring some team mate for huskies to keep them altogether happily. They love to enjoy walking and meeting their fellows so you will find them happy with other their kin.
You cannot train this dog as the custom training and he needs special training to train this dog. You should know about the life style of this dog so you cannot put this dog in home. He likes outing, wandering and other entertainment for them. This like to run for long distance and you should not expect any kind of rest when you adopt this as a pet.

The husky is bred for cold weather. Yes, the modern husky has been bred with pointers and hounds leaving a less desirable winter coat, but that has not been the norm. The heavy double layered coat is ideal for cold weather. A husky can have serious trouble adapting to a warm climate because they cannot pant fast enough to eliminate excess body heat. Clipping or shaving a husky is harder on them then doing nothing at all. The double coat consists of long, course, outer guard hairs which protect the soft under coat. These layers together help insulate and thermoregulate the husky. Shaving these dogs messes up their ability to keep a consistent body temperature.
A husky is bred for patience, and not bred to hunt, but they still have a very strong prey drive. Drive means determination. Like the drive to succeed. When a person has drive they tend to be much focused. Huskies that are focused are hard to control. The best husky owner understands boundaries. They know in order to succeed with a husky; problems must be dealt with immediately. A good husky owner always pays attention because they know one distraction can lead them to posting lost dog signs all over town. They are people who enjoy dogs, but do not have to be worshipped by them. Husky owners have patience because they know sharing their lives with a husky is a life long training process.
