This is the first time between two rivals that fighting took place between legendary Tempa Bay  Rays and Boston Red Sox.

Red Sox have regianed the top spot in the game by victory with 5-1 over Tampa Bay Rays and they have exchanged harsh words. Beckett allowed one run  in six innings and this way Red Sox has won their 12 th home game.

Coco Crisp Red Sox outfielder was involved in a flareup when he slid with 2nd baseman Akinori Iwamura hard and late. After the struck out of Julio Lugo, Rays team manager Jeo Maddon went to the mound to remove pitcher Jason Hammel and at that point he said something to Crisp.

“Everybody else on the mound started looking over there so I got louder,” Crisp said. “I don’t know if he could hear what I was saying but basically I just said, `I did that on my own so don’t punish anybody else on the team.“

Crisp was upset with the wordings of Jason Bartlett, Crisp and Bartlett have came with different cross wordings that ultimately lead towards squarrel between two teams.

“I told him … I’d get back on base and then I’m going to show him how I felt about it,” Crisp said. “It wasn’t as dramatic as it probably would have been if he would have covered the bag.“
