San Gabriel and Santa Ana mountains used to enhance their newly taken over stadium, Anaheim. Yet with more and more construction been done in the stadium it has become a typical modern stadium.

In 1982 postseason and 1986 postseason, the Angels were very close to win the World Series, and were just one strike away.though Angels could be satisfied with the performances a frustrating decade came to an end with narrow a miss of being victorious . The 90’s on the other hand became a decade that all Angels baseball supporters would like to forget. Not only that the team bus met with an accident but some of their important men were murdered and some suicided. It was even said that some sort of a curse has been put in the team. Since the stadium was built on an ancient Indian burial ground it was tempting for some to believe that it was a curse. Walt Disney was brave enough to take control of Angels in the middle of a difficult period for the team. Then they were given a new name by the Disney Company as ‘Anaheim Angels’. With all the disappointments and thumbs downs by their fans The Angels moved on with the energy powered by Disney. In 2002 they won their first world title. But later Disney sold Angels to Angels baseball and the team is now called as Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.

To this day, Angel’s baseball team still sets the standards in baseball in a country which is well known for baseball. Without doubt Angels baseball have paved a path to legend.
